Wow. Humbled. Wow.

Thanks for your kind words and for being a great friend...and an inspiration to me and to others. I wish everyone could work for someone who cares about people with integrity as much as you do.

Uppie...

You write, "Don't fear being yourself."

This is a hot topic in my "practice" this year. I'm working with some lovely people who've been taught to wear masks in order to meet the expectations placed upon them by others (mostly family members). It's really a tough thing to realize that you aren't you... You've been wearing a mask - or many masks - to be who others want/need/expect you to be. Where's the road to freedom?

You nailed the key... Trust.

Build relationships on trust. Don't accept nearby relationships in which you can't trust.

Say "trust," now... "TRUST"

Louder!

Be trustworthy with your self.
Learn to trust others who are trustworthy.
Learn to forgive so you don't expect PERFECTION which will cause others and yourself reapply your masks.

Oh...and from my perspective...learn to TRUST God. But...that's a topic for another post over on my blog.

So...when do you wear your masks?

Peace,
Michael

It's been tough over the years...to forgive, that is. What I learned in that was that my grudge only hurt me.

Forgiving isn't releasing the forgiven from the consequences of their/our actions. It's about the forgiver's healing.

It's about setting yourself FREE.

What moves me to tears, you do!!!

I have never met you, yet everything I read from you is so inspiring and heart felt. I wish you the best of eveything, I really do!!! It's like seeing from a fesh point of veiw and sometimes it's too refreshing. But on the same grounds taking a big breath of refreshing is all some one needs to get motivated and when you see/hear/read of someone that is doing just that, well inspiration follows and so does wanting to follow in their footsteps.......it's like the sayings
"Only as high as I reach can I grow, only as far as I seek can I go, only as deep as I look can I see, only as much as I dream can I be.” and "The greatest results in life are usually attained by simple means and the exercise of ordinary qualities. These may for the most part be summed in these two: common-sense and perseverance.".........These are good mottos that i try to stick to.

Again your blog is truely worth the read!!!
